Please respond Riot- No penalties or limited dodging for leaving queues

So I am playing a normals and I get paired with the most troll team ever (what a surprise). Some reject chooses jg zilean and another Illaoi(?) adc. I refuse to play a game with them so I dodged the game. Now I am being penalized and have to wait 15min because I didn't want to play a game with trolls. Which if I remember correctly, I always get reported for smack talking them. So here I am, trying to avoid that and am still getting screwed over.

How does that even make sense?? Why can't we dodge games to avoid trolls without being penalized? What steps are being implemented to fix this problem? Please respond.

EDIT: From the looks of it Riot will never respond because I'm "toxic" to feeders and trolls. Fine. But If someones says" Im trolling" or "Im feeding" we should all be able to dodge that with no penalties. Or even if you see a "break the meta" pick that has bad written all over it, like zilean jg. Its all Im trying to say.

Still not seeing the problem. Trying new things and breaking the meta =/= troll. Especially in normals.

Which if I remember correctly, I always get reported for talking smack talking them.

Then... Don't say anything to them? Seriously, are you even trying to bring that up as a point in your favor?

Again, you avoid chat related reports by either being silent, or at least not being an asshole. Not. Difficult.

Cases like this are why there is a queue dodge penalty. "Oh look, this person isn't going by the meta! Better keep dodging until everyone on my team wants to play the way I want to play!" If that mentality was allowed to flourish, then nobody would ever get into a game. It would just be constant queue dodges until all ten people were magically happy with what everyone else was doing (would never happen since someone would dodge the instant they were countered in lane).

And before you come back with "But Zilean Jungle and Illaoi adc are soooooo trolly!", answer me this. Have you ever seen Zil jung or Illaoi adc? Maybe they aren't optimal, but they might be fun, and they might work. It's a normal, so nothing is really at stake by just giving it a shot.

You are perfectly entitled to dodge, but you need to deal with the consequences of doing so. There's a penalty for a reason (stated above).

I will talk sh*t to troll teams as much as I please for ruining the game experience. If I get reported for it, so be it, but its not going to stop me. And before that game I had a troll feeder team, so I assumed that these people were worse. They went like 1-10 and 3-11 or something horrible. EDIT: Im all for breaking the meta, but when my previous team (and the past 3 or 4 for that matter) are horrible, that doesn't bring my hopes up these new people "trying to break the meta." When I know they are just going to end up troll feeding.

So your logic here is as follows: "My last match went really badly, so obviously my next team of COMPLETELY UNRELATED PLAYERS is even worse if they even think about breaking the meta."

I'm not even sure what you are trying to say here. Other teams you get paired with are trolling? What would that have to do with this team?

Alright. We'll see if you still don't care when you eventually put up your customary "I got banned because I got trolled" thread in the Player Behavior and Moderation section. I bet it'll be just as convincing as the rest of them.

Oh, and one more time. Say it with me, kids. Trolling and breaking the meta/trying something new are completely different things. Seriously, what don't you understand about that?

So if I haven't experienced it, then in my experience, it isn't shit. This changes nothing. The system doesn't magically detect what players are trolls and feeders and send them your way. To think that it does is delusional, at best.

sounds reasonable to me if i had troll picks 4 games in a row and they all failed. then a 5th came up im auto matically suppsoe 2 assume that this ones gonna be better? how the hell does that make sence sure theres thinking positive but when that constantly happens because u know how many people play this game and dojnt no shit about the mechanisms? ALOT anyways im not for picking sides just voicing opionin

You don't assume that they will be better or worse. You realize that they are different people and will likely play completely differently. You don't go into a lobby with those kinds of assumptions period.

hmm i can see zilian jungle working why not? he move ssuper fast so the echo will recharge super fast can revive people can speed erm up when he locks the two timers on a person theres the stun seems like it could work but u too play smart which is why they should first go make an item set make the runes masteries test out the jungle clear with bots or w.e and then if its relaible because he new he has done it b4 and has proof of it seems legit.

But none of these are required of course its okay for people to jump in and do what they want because obviously this is a game that they play and they will play it their way no matter what anyone says depending on the person. its best just to change urself then change the other.

It's normals. People get pissy when people try new/different things in ranked. You are getting pissy for someone trying something new/different in normals. You are incapable of being satisfied. For that reason alone, you should simply be ignored by RIOT.

I don't really understand why people would troll normal. You dodged. It is wrong to dodge. You cannot say that they were going to troll. I could walk up to a worker at a retail store and tell them I am going to steal something. They can do nothing until I actually steal something, I may not actually steal after all. You cannot break the rules on an assumption that someone is going to do something you don't want them to and expect to not be punished. It is pretty clear. I rarely ever dodge, but if I do I understand what I am doing that I will be punished. It is my choice.

Actually, when I'm playing with my friend, if we see a troll team, he dodges and doesn't get a leaverbuster. Idk how he does it, but its plausible. He says there's an X to cancel out or something but I never see it.

I was gonna negative vote until I read NORMAL que. Okay that changes everything, if you want to dodge normal que cause of trolls. Players should be able to do so without punishment, its different in ranked cause you cant just dodge every game you think youre gonna lose and not get punished.
