Why do I lose more Lp than I Win Lp

Every time I play ranked, when I lose I lose 20-25 Lp every game, I earn about 15 Lp every game I win. Why do I lose more?

Riot does this because they have stock in big pharma. The more you lose the more your health is impacted and the stocks Riot owns go up!

Because your MMR is completely tanked. You have a very poor overall winrate and you are getting matched against low to mid bronze players every game and still barely clinging to 50%. Really the only reason you are still Silver is that they make demoting from V divisions practically impossible

You are in Silver 5 but are barely holding on to 50% winrate against mid Bronze players. The system wants you in mid Bronze but Riot has installed barricades in the V divisions to keep people from falling out because falling from Gold to Silver or Silver to Bronze feels really bad for the player. So the system is giving you less LP for a win because it wants to move you down. At the same time to system is programmed to resist actually moving you to Bronze 1. That is what's happening.

P.S. dont use the actual "Solo MMR" tool in op.gg as its inaccurate as hell. I was just looking to see the ranks of the people you actually get matched with. They average mid Bronze.

What do I need to do to move up? Is it win more games in ranked?
