Not taking int effect HS costs no mana, it still has a cd and only gives a brief circle of an area (or briefer for a past enemy) . Kalistas W spans out and actually patrols the area and the skill passively gives her attack speed and damage.

which one is better?

They both have advantages and weaknesses. Kalista's Sentinel lasts longer can be killed, and reveals a smallish area for as long as it's on patrol. Ashe's Hawkshot reveals a considerable area and also reveals enemies in bushes (unless it's been changed) and the bolt can't be killed by enemies, but it doesn't last as long.

Depends on the situation. You can hide from the Patrol Ghost, you can't hide from Hawkshot. Hawkshot also travels faster and is much more useful for checking Baron/Dragon.

Do you need instant vision on a distant keypoint in the map? Hawkshot is better.

Do you need constant vision on a relatively close point of the map? Sentinel is better.

I won't really consider the steroid stuck in Kalista's skill, as it's mostly a way Riot found to easily buff her late game a little bit.

I like how Quinn isn't mentioned here.

I'd say Hawkshot.

Hawkshot has a global range while it is rather easy to avoid the vision of Kalista's Sentinels.

I'd Say hawkshot because it gives immediate info and a good angled one can check a huge portion of the map and give a lot of info on the enemy jungler. Plus hawkshot never gives gold to enemies and i just love popping kalista sentinels as a support

depends on the enemy team comp, if they have a slow jgler sentinel might be better. Although generally hawkshot's immediate info is better
