Blue Essence Changes

I was just curious as to if there was any kind of changes coming to the way we earn blue essence, because in the past it was fairly easy to get the ip you needed to get new champs, but now I find myself committing about 3x the time in order to get the same amount of blue essence, and it's slightly frustrating at times to work for a long time to get the essence I need for a champ, only to buy it and have it turn around and become irrelevant. I spend about 5-10 hours a day playing league, and I think in the last month, I've only been able to purchase about 2 champions, and I just don't think that's the best way it could be being handled. I put in about 13 hours yesterday, to grind my account to gold, and then I've put in another 7 hours today, and throughout this time I've gained two levels, which got me 2000 blue essence, just so you know where my thoughts are at statistically

there have already been numerous discussions on how BE is better and faster then the old IP system.

since BE i have spent and deleted everything i had in BE in the BE stores every time they come around and i sit at 43k in BE . i had 100k BE to get the urfwick skin a while ago. and since you dont have to use BE to unlock runes ( as in the old system ) you have BE just for champs. then through in champ shards. that you can turn in to BE, use BE to and shard to unlock champ cheaper or combine shards to get a champ. there are alot of ways to get champs.

Actually combining shards to get champs was removed when BE came in.

oh yea i keep forgetting that. ive had all the champs for so long now i forget . thanks

You have all the champs though. I have about half, and I'm buying every 4800 I can currently, but even with the amount of time I put into the game it is so unbelievably slow. It's about one champ every two weeks with 5 hours of playing per day.

I'm not necessarily saying we should go back to the old system, because it had it's flaws as well, I would just like to see more ways to earn blue essence come into the game
