Loging out to the login menu

I know this may not be a major issue but for some players, having the option to logout to the login menu would be something they would appreciate very much. Many of my friends who play league talked to me about this and we were wondering why Riot didn't already made the change.

Is it because most players think this would be useless or that it may be troublesome to make it for coders?

Can someone tell me more about this?
