Bronze matched against DIAMOND in normals!!!! unfair matchmaking.

So i'm bronze, and i get matched against DIAMOND I in normals. how unbalanced is this matchmaking???? and dont get me with the MMR because i dont have same MMR as a DIAMOND I. this need to be fixed. the matched was lost from the beginning. RIOT DOES NOTHING TO FIX THE MATCHMAKING. how is it balanced to have a high lvl player vs a team all bronze???

why am i getting so many downvotes? i've seen many posts like this and this is problem. you're only solution is play ranked. not everybody wants to play rank. this is supposed to be a competitve game and the matchmaking supposed to be the most important part.

Normals and ranked has separate MMR that have nothing to do with each other.

Edit: Looking back in the match history they look pretty boosted anyway considering they were Bronze in the past 2 seasons and now suddenly Diamond 1. If anything they just had a good game lol

I'm diamond and when I play with my friends, I fall against silver /bronze players, I think this is normal

I have a few accounts that range form platinum to diamond and all of those accounts gets matched with bronze people in normals all the time because I never play normals outside of leveling the account to 30.

Normals and Ranked have separate MMR as the other comment stated. Sorry buddy if you wanna play against other bronze players, play ranked.

yeah but they should change that. its not fun for any of the team. the diamond doesnt get a challange and the bronze surrender at 15. when i played ranked i got matched with and against golds. thats is also unfair.

Or maybe just go play ranked? Normals are not designed for 'balanced' gameplay.

that's not ok. what if i want to practice a champion? they need to fix it.

Dont mean to be negative and i say this point a lot.. but normals is not for practice.

Most of the players just mess around on normals, or troll, or dont even try.

That's why average 'ranked' games tend to end around 27 minutes and normals end around 35.

People just dont take normal gamemode seriously and there isnt much (if anything) to learn from normals except for the very basics that you wouldn't have already learned the first 10 games (like Creeps give gold, taking towers are important, how to use summoner spells and abilities)

You can learn this from co-op. Norms have a bit more to offer than that.

lol wut?? not be rude but wut?? so you saying if i want to learn a new champion i should get into rank games? and ruin other pps ranks games? right? that's not how it works. normals are supposed to be what this game is about. this game is a PVP GAME, so Riot should have their matchmaking fixed since they release the game, which is 10 years. they did nothing. not everybody wants to play rank. and im not talking about the troll or others that mess arround, im talking about the programming behind the matchmaking, which is trash to say at least. the programming done by the riot company, not what troll do in normals.

You cant balance matchmaking in a mode where people dont try and have skilled players periodically go into to mess around with freinds.

I imagine most diamond players (for example) almost never play normals so if they go into a normal game they will be placed in lower normal MMR.

You just cant do it.

So your mentality is just to ruin the games for those who care about normals and not so much about ranked, right? what's so wrong if that diamond that want to mess around with friend gets matched at least against a platinum?? if he doesnt care about normals he has no problem losing. but your mentality is: oh you're bronze, your opinion doesnt matter. only diamonds get to have fun as they destroy new players right? no sport out there matches a new contestent against a champion. not even one.

A lot of people here are telling you that you shouldn't expect a fair match in norms. I don't agree with that; otherwise why have normal MMR at all?

Mismatched games are a hazard, and much of the poor behaviour that gets people banned, results from frustrations created by failed matchmaking.

However, in THIS case, it does seem like that player was boosted in ranked, and that his normal MMR is a better representation of his ability. The player gets matched with Silver and Bronze in solo norms and he doesn't consistently stomp, or even outstanding on the losing team.

Probably a bad snowball. The psychological effect of knowing that the enemy has a Diamond carry (even if unwarranted) could also be a factor.

Everytime people complains about an absolutely rigged and unfair normal matchmaking with excuses like It has separare MM like its the deal, you know what? I played since the S1 and mostly normal ganes because i m not interested climbing above gold.

From s1 s7 i got pretty fair matches, but since S8 and more accursed S9 Diamond/platinum vs silvers is the routine. If you really think its fair get dominanted abused y stomped like masochist tastes,its your choice,

i loved this Game and i can, t even play a properly Game when i got stomped or humillated.

Seems only high elo players have the right to have fun, because new players and low elo brackets Will leave the Game this way

But no worries smurfs Will suffice right?

I really wish this company Cares about balance and their playerbase but im.only a fool. That wont happen
