What should I do if you were me?

I started playing LoL near the last few months of season 5 and was lvl 30 during preseason for season 6. So like many people, who are new I also rushed to ranked with not many rune pages and a low champion pool. I got silver 3 during preseasons and kept losing more than I could win.. Having a 30% or less winning rate and stopped when I was down to silver 5 0 lp. I didn't know about mmr or anything during that time. So season 6, came and I did my placements, I got bronze 5. I currently have a 47% - 48% winning rate in ranked with a 2 Kda nearly or more on most champs I played ranked this season with. But I realized my mmr got rekt due to preseason of season 6. I was wondering, if I should make a new account since now that I have a better understanding of a good pool champions and how to play in ranked and any game and what to do when,

Play to improve, not for mmr or rank. Even if you would've been higher bronze tier if you didn't jump straight into ranked, being bronze means you don't understand the game yet. Once you get better you will climb.

Also if your mmr got rekt during preseasons, it means you now play with less competent players, and a 48% winrate means you are no worse or better than them. So no, don't make another account, but watch gameplay of diamond+ players and try to learn.

Try and improve through normals. That way you don't lose any MMR from loses.

I went from 1-30 through bots, so going through normals was a big step for me. I did make a smurf, but I never leveled it up as I preferred playing my main.

Find at least 2-3 champions you are comfortable with in each role. Preferably ones that are varied enough to deal with certain comps (like if you like to deal damage, learn a few magic damage champions as well as physical damage champions). Or find a class you like and see how many roles they can fill (I main tanks, which can fill 3 roles).

Experiment with odd builds once you're confident in the champion. You may surprise yourself.

Most importantly. Don't play normals to win. Play to improve. Read the situation and judge yourself fairly.

Source: I'm probably bronze level, but I don't play ranked enough to know.
