Smurf or not, this is the most BS matchmaking ever

Putting this here because I consider it matchmaking balance.

Long story short, most of my queues are around 10 minutes. I'm playing with other smurfs, and I expect that. I queued with a friend and his friends. My friend is platinum MMR and everyone else is bronze. Sure, I expect to be playing against all 30s. What I don't expect is playing against 3 diamond players at level 18. Now, on my main I play with high MMR players all the time. But it's freaking impossible when you have no masteries or runes. Really, I don't care if I'm a smurf; I don't want to be playing against people with free stats that I don't have access to.

Edit: The game before that I queued solo and was the only person in the game without a rune page. Everyone with either upper 20s if not 30 (with a decent rank).

In case you did not know, Normals are different from Ranked. Some people ONLY play Ranked resulting in a low Normals MMR, thus them being matched with you (no offense to you). The people you went up against probably have a low normal game count. The other possibility is you have won a ridiculous amount of games on this smurf so it naturally puts you with people who have a similar normals win rate.

I'm aware that they have different MMRs. But judging by the way they played they still took the normal game pretty seriously.

The part that really annoys me though isn't just the fact that I was matched with diamond players. If it thinks I have a skill level that can contend with diamond players then good, I'll take it as a compliment. What really annoys me is:

It matches someone with no access to (good) runes and masteries to those who do. They have an objective advantage regardless of skill. I could play my lane perfectly and it probably wouldn't matter.
3/5 of the people I was playing with had bronze MMR. The other was probably around platinum. Unless I'm the best player in the world then our collective MMR shouldn't average out to high plat/low diamond.

Again ranked MMR is completely different from normals. My guess is that your opposing diamond players had a low amount of normal games or normal wins
