RIP Mid Lane Malzahar

Riot, sometimes you frustrate me, I used to play Vladimir frequently until you reworked him and now he is crap tier. Played Leblanc and Talon after that until the assassin rework happened, now I just can't seem to perform as well on Leblanc (but Talon is all around better), I than moved to Malzahar whom I love with all of my heart, learned all his ins and outs and was always my go to mid-laner and what do you do, you pull down your dorito stained khakis and take the biggest Randy Marsh dump on Malzahar's glorious ripped chest.

I will be testing out Vladimir today since he just got buffed but I know it won't be the same as old Vlad, I'm slowly losing interest in this game. item 2050 item 3070

What are we talking about again? The minor nerf Malz received?

I'm assuming you don't play Malz often, his voidlings are the majority of his early to mid game damage. Not to mention his farming capabilities/wave clear

Then why is it that the majority of Malzahar guides, I've seen, tell me to Max Q or E first? If it's his primary source of damage, shouldn't it be maxed first?

No, because maxing W doesn't increase their damage. Voidling damage is a % of Malzahar's Attack Damage (hence why they hurt early/mid and not late and also why AD malz jungle and AD URF Malzahar is a thing)

So your primary spells that you max first remain unchanged, and the damage on your Voidlings stays the same. What's the problem again?

We no longer have early/mid game damage/wave clear/lane pressure/kill potential (outside of our ult)?

So how does a delay in the Voidlings spawn time impact their waveclear or overall damage? Also, your not the Queen, say Malz if your talking about the champion.

It reduces the time they have to multiply, and makes it nearly impossible to all-in someone for a kill since you have to wait an extra second to engage which both lets the enemy run, and further reduces the time they have to multiply for more damage.

Wave clear should still be the same as after 6.23 though.

You say losing interest like there are only 10 champs in this game. Expand your bubble. With over 100 champs, i don't see how losing interest is possible

I've tried out all the champs except Kled, Camille, and Jhin. I tend to stick to a smaller pool of champs that I enjoy playing. I know it leaves me more open to get hurt in situations like this but every player is different. I personally love mages but still hate some like Karthus or Xerath (I tend to hate delayed spell casts).

Thats what i don't get, you say you like mages. That's 40% of the champs in LOL. And they are diverse too. Some are Tank, Squishy, Assassins, Artillery, Control, Utility. There are a lot of options in this game. I feel like there are more champs that fit your play style.
