Riot doesn't know how to nerf

I have well over 10,000 games on Jayce by now, and here goes Riot again nerfing the champion. Why? Because he has a huge impact in pro play. So what does Riot do to nerf Jayce? They nerf his late game. Isnt that weird? Jayce's late game is already shit as is, yet Riot is here making his late game even more trash. This nerf literally does nothing to Jayce, because any good Jayce main knows that you need to end before 30 minutes. If Riot was wanting to seriously balance Jayce, they'd need to make his early game bad and his late game good. Jayce's early game is superior to almost every champion matchup top lane, thats what makes him god tier in pro play. All this nerf did was made it inevitable for yet another nerf on Jayce in the oncoming future until Jayce ends up useless like Azir.
