How is there not a system to deal with AFK players or LEAVER???!!

I just got two AFK players in a row for two games. I was at gold 4: 0lp at the time. I somehow managed to win my first game and we lost the second. HOW is there not a system implemented in which your loss caused by an afk does not affect your mmr or doesn't lower it totally for a loss. If i were to lose both my games, I would have been demoted to gold 5 and it would have taken anywhere from 3-5 MORE hours just to get to the same spot i was originally at IF i dont lose any matches. HOW is this even possible.

Because if you got loss prevented from having an afk teammate what is going to stop you from having one of your teammates afk and you not losing elo, it is too easily abused and it is better to just punish the individual who went afk

If you lose mmr and elo, then you face worse opponents. It should balance itself out in the end. Unless you are in Elo Hell, in which case you are not good enough at the game anyways.

Actually there is system in place that keeps it balanced:

Your team has afk you lose LP Enemy team has afk you gain LP
