Seriously, just release him. Don't understand the point of delaying the champion release if he is patched into the client. You're making me want to NOT buy him at this point, the hype that was built around him has now fallen flat.

Things are delayed for reasons. We try not to just dump stuff into the client but rather, release content at a steady pace so you don't get overwhelmed with stuff all at once. In Azir's case, though... We're telling a story... Might want to check out the Shurima website, where it says "Part I"

From what I saw on PBE streams, he was extremely broken and OP. I hadn't seen him in a few builds so maybe he is better now, but he needed a lot of work last time I saw him.
Maybe they are waiting to not make mid lane so overcrowded, with Cass' rework just coming out there are already alot of people shooting for mid. That's the only reason I can think of considering there's usually no patch in between to modify the new champ before release, but who knows?
