You should revert the change to aram and let us buy gold income items.

This is a horrible choice, you really are only catering to the lowest common denominator here... its either sink or swim and now you HAVE to focus on cs to get gold... Before I could get frost queens and just harass also letting the ADC farm minions..... Now even supports have to focus on cs and it creates a bad turtleneck in my opinion. Furthermore I can't even upgrade the raptor cloak, shows how much you guys really thought that one through.... You have removed yet another avenue for different playstyles to excel.

In ARAM, the only Gold Income items that were any bit useful were Ancient Coin and Spellthief's Edge (and the ever-so-rare Relic Shield) - And the reason why is because ARAM is a hectic, fast-paced gamemode where teamfights and skirmishes happen at the drop of a hat.

And because of all these skirmishes and fights and the like, CS takes the backseat as players try to build into those near-constant fights. Ever-so-rarely does anyone actually care about getting CS in ARAM, because the ambient gold and the gold gain from Champion kill/assist is often enough to bump them up an item or two.

Removing the four Gold Income items is Riot just trimming the fat around a gamemode that needs to be quick; Ancient Coin, Spellthief's Edge, Relic Shield, and Cull aren't remotely effective teamfight tools, so they don't belong in a gamemode that's practically 24/7 teamfights.

that's your opinion, I exclusively play aram and it seems more evident riot is catering to the lowest common denominator.

Edit: there were also alot of fun builds you could do with those items....
