Focus on the FEEL while progressing through the game and less on the prize at the finish line Riot.
All they simply need to do is remove ip being locked to leveling up it just feels extremely bad to lose a game and get a tiny amount of xp and no BE. BE should be earned as it was before where you get a little if lose and a little more if you win. **There is NO incentive to keep playing when you lose **
Think about it not only do veteran players get the short end of the stick imagine what new players are feeling like when they lose a game. "Oh i lost and get no BE to buy that really cool champ only a small amount of XP that takes forever level up". Then even when you level up the fact that it is possible to get all 90 BE champ shards is ridiculous. If they absolutely refuse to give BE while winning or losing which is total BS then Let the level up reward not let you able to get more than 1 90BE shard if you get 4 let us be able a at least one 6300 champ at milestone levels every 5 0r 10 levels and a lower chances between them where you get 4800BE champs go down.
Simply put a 90BE shard is just a spit in your face and feels very very UN FUN to get one. In fact the entire system is daunting. When when we speak of such things they pull out "data" well look at the "data" number of posts that are on your boards where hundreds of players are speaking about the new BE system. Usually when one person takes the time to write a post there are hundreds more that share that view, It isn't a small minority as you all might think it is. If you don't make a change you will start to lose players. You can't make a free to play game and make make champions this un fun for players to get in terms of the way we acquire BE. As someone already stated Make champions as it was to get and make revenue off skins with the change to OE it will take way longer to get a skin you really like and i get that since you are trying to push a business model thats fine. But when it comes to BE system it makes no sense at all.
whenever comparing League to Dota which almost everyone does at some point all of their champions are free and you pay for whatever you like. Another example is Warframe they give you stuff for every single thing you do in that game. **You might not need the stuff but you still get it so it FEELS rewarding to earn stuff while playing ** You don't get any of this while losing or even winning a game.
Next time when you think of implementing a new system focus on the feel while progressing and less on the prize at the finish line.
