I was 5-0 with 1439 MMR on OP.GG said I will most likely place in S1 I just won another game so now 6-0 and now it says 1390 MMR and likely to be placed in S2? What's the deal with this? Can anyone give me insight on this.. a bug maybe? or is this some type of correction?

Mysticman893 votesOP.gg and similar third party estimates are just estimates of mmr, and not your actual mmr. They're pretty inaccurate around the start of season for a variety of reasons, and not necessarily accurate even late in the season.

Mysticman891 votesAny riot stuff tends to have the riot logo on it somewhere, as I'm pretty sure third parties aren't allowed to use it.
Oh and by the way, your mastery grades have no impact on your mmr. If you spend the whole game inting but your teammates managed to drag you to victory, you'll gain the same amount of mmr as you would had you done a godlike 1v9 hard carry performance, since mmr only cares about win/lose.
