Solo Normal Que

I was just wondering how Normal DQ is fair for those learning the game?

I have been tracking my games since lvl 20 and am now lvl 25 but I have yet to be Solo Que'd with people my lvl. I am usually que'd up against PLat gold players.

This really sux cause they tend to dive me in turret at lvl 1 and win most of the exchanges. the T3 rune difference over the T2 is bad enough. but they have a 5 rune advantage and a 5 mastery advantage as well.

I am trying to learn the game but i think i am done and gonna recommend my friends not to try it now that i have told them about it and asked them to try, i will tell them it is not worth the toxic unfair hassle).

Cause really it is not fair. I get into a match and instead of people giving advise I get taunts and goating from enemy team and 98% of the time i am yelled at and flamed by players on my team. If that wasn't bad enough but because i have noticed that abbot 70% of the enemy teams are full of ranked gold or higher players and i usually only have maybe 2 the rest are lvl 25-30. So when your whole team is getting owned this bad EVERY GAME it makes learning a non existent point cause all your doing is getting owned even just trying to last hit.

So i guess my point is WILL solo que ever get fixed to team people up accordingly (I was told normal draft is the first step to understanding ranked draft IF i play ranked) cause learning the game is obviously out since i get so worked up from my team flaming and being so toxic (one of the most toxic games i have ever played tbh).

After reviewing your match history, you are telling the truth about being matched up against gold and plat players, but to counter act that you've been given teammates that are 3-4 division above your entire enemy opponents. This means that the MMR for both sides is even, and honestly, it was a little in your favor. However, I can understand that this still doesn't negate the fact you personally had a bad experience due to a bad individual match-ups, but this is a team game (good or bad).

I've leveled up multiple account and I can understand how this can be frustrating. Its bad enough to be losing to raw stats based on runes and mastery advantage, but to also face a veteran player makes this awful. The reason leveling up feels painful is to discourage veteran and high level players from making a new account just to hector new players.

Remember, that Riot is the front runner for online MOBA, so solutions for these kinds of problems don't exist, but they are truly working on it. Do you really think they have an answer, and just want to troll their player base? Being a front runner means they discover new problems never encountered before, therefore, there usually isn't a quick answer.

Not everyone in the community is toxic, but you should be familiar by now how people act online. For now, you have to take the good with the bad. Remember frustration only develops when your expectations aren't met. Don't expect so much and take all this as a learning experience. ARAM is a great equalizer when you don't have the runes or levels to truly compete, but everyone starts at the bottom. Relax and most importantly HAVE FUN!

Thanx for the honest reply. I will still likely grind through it. Only thing is i find it hard to learn the mechanics of the game when someone just sets up and owns you you every 30 seconds or so. So i feel the learning curve is out the window, due to each game just being about survival to not feed instead of truly learning a champ.

Also just wish maybe in champ select BEFORE the loading screen they can add rank or lvl with the names so maybe just maybe someone plat will see a low lvl like me and offer guidance and not bashing, but that is just my 2 minions worth.

Also do these normal games set the stage for you when you want to started ranked?

What i mean is if i have like a 10 game losing streak as I have had now due to this, when it comes time for me to get placed into a rank (be it silver gold or what have you). Do these stats not start me low for placements then say if i am winning all the games?

If so then this truly is not fair way to judge my play style because of being out matched/lvled most of the time.

Like my last game i was a Morg mid vs a silver ranked Malz and won the lane hard 53 cs difference at 21 min. Laning was over i was 7/0/1, but due to my team i ended up dieing and well shortly after laning we lost and i finished 8/5/5, yet i may get dropped in placements because of teams like this of higher ranked or am i mistaken??

Each queue (normals, ranked, twisted treeline, etc) has its own individual ranking. So your MMR (match maker rating) in normal queue does not affect your rankedd MMR. Since they are separate, this is why you see high level players in ranked face low level individuals in normal queue. Chances are these individuals only played ranked and climbed very high, and when they decided to play normals for the first time, they started with a fresh, low MMR.

Again don't expect and anticipate your placements in ranked. The good thing about ranked is that you will face people more around your skill level and knowledge, thus allowing you to gradually learn your champion and the game instead of "just surviving."
