SERIOUSLY!, WHAT IS GOING ON WITH MY RANK!? (I need answers badly)

OKAY!, Two years ago I wasn't great at League of Legends at all, But ended up getting a rank of Silver 5. Last year, I attempted to do ranked again, Did a bit better than I did before, But then fell under the rank of a Bronze 3. I thought to myself, "Maybe it's because when duoing with my friend on the bot lane and KSing as Sona, they thought I was probably not a team player." This year on the other hand I had the best games on ranked I have ever had, BUT! I AM A BRONZE 4!?

Someone explain to me why this is?, Is Riot testing me to carry myself out of bronze???

Sigh people really should search up similar problems on board before posting. This is like the 50th time today i've seen similar posts.

When rank resets and the new season starts, every single player has to do their 10 placement games. The highest achievable ranks through placement matches is Plat 1, meaning that every single player from Diamond 5 and above will be shove down to plat 1 and below, which would subsequently shift everyone originally below plat 1 down a full tier. That is probably the explanation for your rank.

Will you be stuck in bronze? No. It really is dependent on your games then on. Many lower/mid silvers are now in bronze. But you should find it easy to win and climb from bronze and back to wehre you were.
