Champion selection chat block

Is there a reason why my chat is blocked in blind picks until everyone has already called their lanes?

I don't like doing draft unless it is ranked, and in blinds I have the chance/opportunity of mirror matches which is super fun for me.

Please don't flame me, although I'm sure there is one kid out there who will ignore that request.
