Bronze 5 0 LP. Trying to improve.

Hi everyone, today i just fell to bronze 5 0 LP and i was just wondering if there is something i should do to improve.

First let me set this straight i am NOT one of those players in bronze who thinks that they are so amazing and their team is so bad that its hold them back. I am the farthest thing from that. I can clearly see i am absolutely terrible, and it is mainly my fault when i lose games. Sometimes when im ahving a particularly bad game i straight up feel bad for my teamates that they even had to play with me. Nonetheless i try my best every game.

I was placed in bronze 3 after my placements at the beggining of the season. I didnt really think too much of it, as i didnt play too much ranked earlier this season. Finally i decided to give ranked a go and make the climb to silver. Well that didnt work out too well. I think early on i got promoted to b2 once but it was very brief and i fell down to b4 really fast. I then dedicated my time to really improving and have since been watching numerous tips and guides on how to improve at league. They all generally say the same thing, so heres what i mostly found:

To climb in elo you should:

Die less Ward better Make better decisions Learn to cs better

Ive really tried to put this stuff into practice for quite some time now but it really isnt working for me. My csinf and warding is much better, but dieig less and decision making is a huge problem for me.

Its almost like i just dont think when im playing, like the heat of the moment in the chaos of the game just takes over and forces me to make irrational decisions no matter what i do. Im not sure what else i can do, so i am just wondering if anyone out there has something to say that will just click with me or something. Really im desperate right now, any advice is appreciated! Thanks for your time.

the best way is to limit your champions down to about 6 and then practice with them until you understand all their abilities.

Replays are great for specific feedback as Critmaster Garen suggested. My own suggestion for you is to look up "laning mechanics".

Learning where to ward and how to cs better is great, but it doesn't really make a significant difference if you don't know how to translate the benefits of those two concepts into a win. You can learn where to ward and when to ward, but if you don't know how to best utilize the benefits of that ward then it is pointless. For example, you might have your lane well warded, but if your map awareness is bad, you might as well have not warded. Your ward would still benefit your team, but the point here is for YOU to benefit from that ward.

It all comes down to being aware of the current situation in the game. Check out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dU4dUSI1eI

Skip to about 3-4 minutes and go from there. You don't need to watch the whole video. Just watch the laning phase part of it. Really listen to the "coach" as he guides the player. Much of what he says makes sense.

For the most part, it all comes down to using logic. For example, if your opponent has been beating you in lane and is building bursty and is AP, you might want to invest in some Magic Resistance (MR), especially if you are not great at avoiding poke. Furthermore, you might consider buying more potions for sustain than spending every last gold piece on that next upgrade item and having no gold left for potions. All these things come into play and generally, you learn how to deal with these situations based on your experience.
