Ult reset champion change

Personally, after playing Pyke for a while, I found that sometimes when I am mid ult, I get my kill taken, even though my teammate would get full kill gold, and I don't get a reset and its just a waste.

For champions that have ults that reset (Pyke, Darius, etc) I think that once you have ulted, if a kill is taken for example, you still get some sort of reward, like if an enemy is above pykes mark, or if Darius is in the air (Darius ult is faster tho so idk) but yh just a small thing I noticed.
