Amount of sustain in bot lane.
Now it could be just me as I don't often see many people talking about it. However it seems like the amount of sustain in bot laning phase makes any poke dmg negated within 5-10 secs if you cant follow it up. I often feel like the only way a fight is won is via a gank or an all in fight.
Items like relic shield although I understand the reasons for the item seem to make the bot lane very passive. I also think it is what makes healing in general hard to balance. Im not quite sure the fix but the availability between talents, runes, lifesteal items, champ mobility, and items like relic shield just make bot lane very unfun sometimes. You can poke a champ to 25% health and even without a healing support within the first 5 mins of the game they will be back to full in under 10 secs. It makes winning trades feel useless and pointless if you can follow up another trade right when cds are back up again.
Just my observation I guess since the new masteries ive been feeling more and more annoyed playing a bot support and I feel like it may be part of the reason for the lack of support players as you often time feel like you have useless dmg and 6 winning skirmishes are negated by healing in under 10 secs.
