Why can't we vote out a toxic player at the draft screen?

In regards to that post.

Why not trust the people, who even though we have our bad apples, over time people tend to be understanding in most regards. Even toxic or harsh players have an understanding and won't go kicking/abusing the system when its not needed.

There will be people who set an example.

We dont need to limit the vote kick to once a day, if the same person is getting kicked every time, doesn't that say something? Their unwillingness to work with the team? The team will also understand rare people who have unique picks, all the person has to do is voice that. I want to play this, anyone have a problem?

Etc.

Trust us first, don't go just based on numbers. That and with all your other systems in place to reduce toxicity...it would only be a step forward. IMHO.

Every system we have in place can be abused to some extent. That doesn't prevent us from using it.

-The tribunal was abused just as much as it helped immensely..and Riot plans to add it again once it goes through this 'major' change. That was in place for a year plus.

-Reporting function - While there's been a ton of falsely accused players as well as accurate reports, it's still in place.

-Recruiting friends.

-Power leveling

-Rank boosting.

-Smurfs

Proposals for the idea: It could be added that if you get recognized as a "Good" player, you could be immune to a certain number of kicks instead of limiting the kicks to the players. Those immune wouldn't be affected by a "Kick" unless all 4 players in a party agreed to kick and even then, if they have the immunity, it would only remove it or lower its potency. Making them immune for that game.

This doesn't need to be applied in Normal Mode, but only in ranked play, where it actually matters to others a lot more.

Interesting you have that opinion. I thought Gold 5 people were just as toxic as Bronze, but apparently I was wrong. Wouldn't last 2 days here regardless. Systems that can be abused should not be put in place, it is that simple.
