Recent Mastery Change in the Wrong Direction

I could write a long post about this, but the gist is this: masteries as a system should feel meaningful. I think at the balance level they were at before the 7.4 patch, I felt like I could tell a little bit when I had more mana than without meditation, or I was squishier than without double-edged-sword. Already some of them feel invisible, like bounty hunter.

I like to theory craft which masteries to take, but it feels bad when I have no idea if I made the "right" choice or not (the choice that I was going for, I guess. Maximize damage, help with early game, etc) even comparing between games. Nerfing middle masteries just makes them harder to understand, and for newer players, they may end up with sub-optimum values because they can't tell the difference since it's so subtle.

I think it would be better to remove those middle masteries completely (keystones are fine) than to nerf them into more invisible yet still meaningful stats.
