Bring back old Graves!
Hello summoners! I created this poll to see who else agree with me on sending a message to RIOT to bring old Graves back. It happened before with Rengo, so I have hope that he can come back also :')
Thank you!

Along with rest of old champions.
Personally, I want both. This iteration of Graves is unique and entertaining to play. The old Graves was also a nice and fun champion to choose, but overly simplistic to justify a revert for no real reason. As is, am fine with either -- but would certainly want both in the game considering how vastly different they are.

That might be kinda cool...plenty of games have shadow versions of characters...its not like we couldnt have some sort of magical time warp open up and old graves just drops in and now we have 2 of them.
Yes.
His Passive mechanic is gimmicky.
I don't even understand why he was reverted to begin with, everyone is complaining about he's so Tanky.
Plus, it almost entirely ruined him as an ADC and relegated him to the Jungle (with the occassional Graves top).

His passive is there to allow him to deal with longer ranged marksmen.
The rework just made it so he actually USED a shotgun-like weapon. It was never understood as to why a shotgun shot 1 bullet at a time at such a fast pace (hence his Mafia skin having a tommy gun to be more appropriate to his playstyle before his rework).
The reason why Jungle Graves (after his rework) worked so well is because the minor push back on each basic attack allowed him to clear the jungle healthily, which is still true to this day. This minor knock back also affected and removed Rift Scuttler's armor to allow him to clear it fast versus those who didn't have that kind of cc to spend.
You can still play him bottom lane but it takes time and effort to make it work if you wanna be one of the Graves bot lane trailblazers.

What?
How does a shorter attack range and auto attacks that can't pass through minions help him against long ranged opponents?

As if his current shotgun makes any sense either.
It has space for 8 shells but he only ever loads in 2, and in his joke animation it only has 1 shell in it at all.

Of course, I am clearly aware of why he's good in the Jungle currently.
I just want to know why he was even turned into a Jungler in the first place, when he was a Marksman in the past.

I know it is possible, but possible does not always mean reliable.

He's got 2 passives, one in his E which is his OLD passive before the rework. The armor gained through stacking True Grit is there to help lane against longer ranged marksmen.

Ye.

I wouldn't say Jungler excludes marksmen and bot lanes doesn't exclude anything that isn't a markemen. Roles and classes are two different things. I also wouldn't say that he was specifically designed with jungling in mind. They just gave him an actualy shotgun-like mechanic that just so happen to make him an effective jungler overall. Players found this out, not Riot. Riot didn't tell you to play Graves as a Jungler.
I know it is possible, but possible does not always mean reliable.
Reliability never stopped players from playing Support Lux, Jungle Taliyah, Mid Lucian, Top Vayne, Bot Lane Vladmir.
They were reliable at one point or more or another. But they certainly were reliable.

Yeah but I was referring to his current passive.

True, but I cannot fathom they implemented the shotgun mechanic with Graves being a Marksman in mind.
They clearly wanted to turn him into something else.

I've never witnessed Graves Bot lane have as much success as the others you mentioned.

Why, so bot laners can not play him against and complain about him being a worse Lucian?
lol never gona happen we junglers have taken him from the adcs
I LOVE THE OLD GRAVES, and i hope riot can be back like rengar.
