Stun, wall crowd control, egg, and ulti slow is it viable? haven't tried in ranked but ppl underestimate the wall can block a whole lane off.

doubtful.

even with her Egg and her Wall, her CC and lack of mobility, makes her too vulnerable, without the level of Burst that comes from AP itemization.

Anivia can work and some people do it, though I personally don't like it that much. It's much harder for her to get the gold for an early item 3003 item 3027 because she really needs them and it would take to long for her to get it.

Though I could see maybe going for item 3165 item 3030 that might be enough to keep her useful later on, but she wouldn't have as much AP as she would with the RoA/Archangel. Shes alright as a support, but if you wanted to play a mage as a support there are better options.

Aniva is classified as a support secondary... On that note, so is Ashe.... I mean, technically, any character can be a support if played correctly.

It works if that's what you're asking, if you want to do damage however it will take 30+ mins to get going. It's the same with Orianna support, very strong but needs time if you really want to be impactful.

She is still declared a decent support if you run Vayne with her. :P depends on the match up too.

Supports typically have good base stats, CC, and a bit of sustain or defensive buff as well.

Your right, you have no dmg but the wall doesnt require anything plus if she gets focused she has egg, early lvl fights for example.

I've done it a couple times. adcs like graves vayne and varus seem to work best but it's really difficult if the enemy picks a highly mobile adc Lucian . It's fun but not good enough for ranked
