League in its prime?

Honestly, with this new season coming out I've had loads of fun. I think this may be the most fun I've ever had in League actually. This is probably due to the new game play that we haven't experienced before in the last season. The jungle is completely different with the jungler having to making tough decisions with his smite. Top lane finally having some fun ranged characters to the mix so I can have a new joy in playing top lane. I find going against them makes you completely change your style that I had been doing for some many games with my two favorite top lane champs. The game is also so very balanced IMO. The only frustrating character I can think of is Soraka (Rito pls you said you fixed her also maybe Fizz cough op). The constant spam heal in lane is extremely annoying. Mid lane also has welcomed a variety of champs that were never played season 3. Bot lane no comment except pls make Thresh less solo que op and this is coming from a Thresh only support ,but don't overdo it rito. All in all I have a new joy in League of Legends.

This post may be fairly biased though since I have recently quickly risen up multiple ranks in a short amount of time (Bronze to Plat in 1 year baby.) and I have found some new friends that I enjoy playing League with. Also, I have been able to always stop an argument before it even begins recently which is making the game much more enjoyable.

I would like to know YOUR opinions on the new S5 and what you like about it and what you absolutely hate about it.

(P.S Don't say Zed is op... I have played over 2300 games and have only seen Zed hard carry at the most 9 games and the majority of them were because my friend is a beast with him.)

(P.P.S Also don't say that a huge amount of champs are unviable atm. The Riot members are working on it and if you actually enjoyed the champion then you wouldn't be complaining about them since in reality 90% of the champs in league are useful with the right playstyle, effort, and skill. I mained Riven in the phase where people said she was absolutely useless and I dominated.)

people are always complaining but to be honest the game just gets better with time. I've been playing since before season one and shit used to be nuts in league.

I don't know. I liked S3, when I started playing. I honestly don't think I would have stuck with the game now. New champs have overloaded kits that make playing old champs feel outdated...you see the same champs in most games, especially at the competitive level....Riot allows certain champs to be strong at all times (Lee Sin) while nerfing others that get strong for a day...I don't know. I feel a lot of champs, mostly new ones and assassins, have little risk with high reward.

This is the worst balanced I've ever seen league with some roles being completely unplayable. I have moved from the jungle to mid lane because I hate it so much.

Yes... Because I love seeing Lee Sin often for 4 seasons straight doing the same trick over and over and over... Oh who am I kidding...

started playing at ziggs and even though i had fun losing at season 2 season 3 was my gravy man...almost 1k games in b5 solidified that i sucked but i had fun losing and trying....season 4 i just lost minus the fun so i quit. come back for preseason and i am having fun losing again. can i at least get to b3 this year...we'll see xD

I started playing LoL S2. I got bored and left. Came back S3 / S4. The game is a helluva lot more fun and interesting. Perchance because I know what I am doing now.

Season two was the best. Nocturne ganks from halfway in the jungle? Yes please.

But the new season isn't looking too bad. Despite people's problems, champion designs ARE getting better. There's more power spread over the entire kit rather than being focused in one or two abilities.

I kinda liked the new jungle buffs and uses for smite.

I like the idea of the new regen items, but they used them as a stick to make regen worse for all champions except for a select few.

I miss Atma's.

The big problem though is that they keep nerfing all the champions and making them worse overall. Champion power should only go in one direction, and that is up.

Despite it's many flaws, this season may not be that bad. As long as you don't think about the LCS, Riot is trying to promote more champions.
