question about nasus

i was playing and i reached 1k stacks at 40 minutes ... and that's with me not stacking the whole game like dying multi times to the whole enemy team like i probably had like 6-7 deaths at that point ... is that any good for a ? it seems like its ok i was laning against another and he had only had like 380 stacks at 40 minutes so i assume its descent but i don't know maybe he was just really really bad and i am just meh at stacking ... game ended at like 50 minutes and i had like 1250 stacks or somewhere around there.

is that a acceptable number of stacks or what?

The only thing that matters is winning. Helping your team. That's what a lot of Nasus players at lower ELO seem to forget. It's not about how many stacks you get, it's about how much you help your team win.

1000 stacks in 40 minutes is a very large amount, yes. But I assume you only obtained these by sitting in your lane by yourself for 40 minutes spamming your Q. Did you help with dragons? Did you track your laner? Did you try to help your mid laner? Did you peel for your ADC in teamfights if someone tried jumping them?

These are all more important than farming your Q to the highest number possible. Besides, what was your build? A Nasus with 1,000,000 stacks is still kiteable and can be taken down.

Agreed. What use is 1000 stacks if its never put to use in team fights?

i had a tanky build ... also i had like 6 or so deaths when i got to that point so i couldent of just been stacking all game

also dont worry im a bad nasus i let my team down i had another game at some point ... 1.5k stacks at 60 minutes but we lost cuz i was to busy stacking instand of pushing XD but at the same time i warned them im not gonna push only stack so meh they knew it was coming
