Rename the subreddit to /r/CollectiveDepression * r/singedmains

Us boys at r/Singedmains have been depressed for months, our big boy Daddy Singed has been really weak in the least 2 years and it's getting to the point where it is becoming impossible to play him. He is almost exclusively played by one tricks because of his unique play style and his winrate is still 47%. There have been suggestions on what could be a rework, just considering or telling us that you are even thinking about doing anything for papa would be enough for us. Please Riot, you have ignored dad for 3 years now but the game has changed so much that dad can't keep it up any longer. Help dad before he is RIP. #SaveSnoged

Unless they rework him in a manner where proxy Singed isnt a thing anymore, I'm fine with him not being popular or A-tier. Its hands down the least fun and least engaging playstyle to have to play against. Just sit at your tower last hitting under turret as it slowly gets chipped further and further down. Absolutely nothing you can do about it. Cant stop him, he'll just run. Cant kill him because of the bullshit dark seal stacking.

Then he's literally proxying your base. Takes 3 people to kill him. Runs away if you try to stop him. Comes right back.

Absolutely horrible, miserable gameplay. Fix that first then he could have some buffs

Proxy Singed died 3 seasons ago, if you still lose against a proxy it's because you are not helping your team. I've faced a proxy Singed myself numerous times and it's pretty fun catching him if he does not pay attention.

No it's not. It's absolutely miserable. Hands down the least fun playstyle for everyone else besides Singed. The only reason you say proxy Singed is "fun" to play against is because he's your main.

Proxy Singed does not work anymore mate since 3 seaons, Riot destroyed it by changing the minion's path finding. If you are facing a proxy Singed then you are facing a troll that is a free kill. It's extremely easy to deal with because the Singed is just giving free farm and free EXP to his opponent. I am not going to share sympathy for something that does not exist anymore. It's like someone asking for a Yi buff and then someone coming and talking about AP Yi although that has been removed for ages. item 3673

All Singed masters said it's useless, just go ask them they are active on the r/Singedmains. I have only played Singed in 2 years except if someone else picked him so I know myself how pointless it is to proxy, and even the person that was a one trick proxy pony Singed420 claimed it's absolutely pointless to proxy.

You are simply not listening to me, he only does it out of principle, he has dropped a massive rank because of that. All Singed masters say it does not work, the person you are talking to right now that only plays Singed says it does not work. You are simply being ignorant.

Have you looked at singed420's current rank? HE is straight up platinum, the dude used to be d2-masters. He plays proxy singed ONLY because it's part of his identity. It is no longer a good strategy, because singed no longer can reliably use a mastery page which has tenacity since CoC got nerfed in 1v1 situation, because ghost does not kick in immediately, because minions got changed, among many other factors.

It was played a lot a couple of months ago, even saw pro play. Sure he might be weak but he has some problems that desperately needs to be adressed. Mainly the fact that proxy singed still is a thing, even if it is not the most used strategy. He also lacks any kind of interaction with his lane opponent and there are very few ways to show difference in how good the singed player is outside of decision making.

Singed is supposed to be played strategically not mechanically. If they remove the possibility to proxy, even if proxy is useless. Then they'd essentially remove Singed. They should however, be buffing lane Singed. Proxy does not work with the new path finding, but Singed kit made it possible to proxy. What I am saying is: Singed should not be changed for proxy, minions were already changed to prevent effective proxy.

Also back then it was simply Singed abusing CoC. We went through this already a lot at other places but for people out of loop. Singed has been trash for 3 seasons, we only managed to play him by exploiting new things. When the game is getting balanced though, Singed becomes shit. This is why we want Singed to simply be strong on his own and not so dependent on the current new broken keystone.

Even if he should be played strategically if it does not give his lane opponent a chance to play that game, or just limits their choices between playing the game but falling behind or not playing the game at all, then he cannot allowed to be strong. So for singed to be buffed he has to have a more interactive lane with more room to be punished and has to have worse proxy ability. In the end he is just one of the least fun champions to play against because in certain matchups you have to get camped to even have a chance to do something, and even then unless you have the right jungler the correct move is often to leave a proxy singed unless your midlane can push out and join the hunt.

Proxy singed is incredibly punishable right now. He is essentially free kills, since he now has a 2 second buffer for ghost and he can no longer rely on the CoC shield to save his ass when he's getting 2-manned. Almost all good singed's are running DFT mastery pages since the CoC nerf, and if they choose to bring that for proxy then they lose the tenacity, so it's a lose lose regardless of which keystone. I'm not saying that proxy is necessarily a fair or cool strategy to play against, but it's almost inting in the current meta. A decent jungler can get super fed of him with considerably less effort than earlier patches.

I really agree with this. And lols to the people still crying for proxy singed: 1, Proxy is dead; and 2, if you lose against a proxy singed is because you played his game! Do some reading and lose with some self respect if you did, no need to make some big drama.

However, what I do think could be useful is a new passive, rigght now a lot of people still call it "the noob trap" and, what's worse, I've seen a lot of harrassment towards singed players because he "does not build mana". what could work is giving him %slow on his Q that depends on AP or on the amount of Mana if you still want him to build that. He will be hard to balance because of his unique playstyle, even ghost is kind of balanced around him as he's the champ that picks that summoner that most (according to riot's stats)

Finally someone with sense, his passive is the biggest problem. Singed is very outdated because of how much Riot changed everything. Fling is still up to date but his ult is missing % stats instead of flat stats. The problem is also that Singed's poison really has nothing much to it. Minishcap1 a Singed challenger and a friend of his whom is a Jarvan challenger talked about how silly it is that Singed poison only has some minor extra damage to it if you level it but his kit still forces the player to do so. Goo is also a really clunky spell that really has not much use for it except if the unpredictable goo fling gets pulled off. The problem with that is that it is pretty random to execute because of its cast time. Then comes the elephant in the room, Singed's passive is the worst passive in league of legends. It's extremely useless and even tricks people into building mana on him. The person I linked in the post with the rework idea had quite a good plan on what to do with Singed's passive to not change it too much but actually make it useful.
