Why is Yas so broken?

I know this has probably been brought up before but Yasuo currently isn't fair. He has 100% crit at 1 and a third items. There is no counter play to that. Unless you pick someone with full lane stun (veigar) You cannot stop him from destroying you entirely. Without playing as a group of 3-5 you really cannot do anything to stop him. Your team NEEDS to be built around stopping yasuo if you cannot ban him.

This is my experience with him at a B2 level. He needs to be nerfed or have less crit chance because it truly is not fair.

So since everyone keeps just saying something like "You just don't know how to play against him." and not giving any advice could you please explain how to play against him because no one I know has any clue how to win lane and still do well against yasuo and you telling me I do not know how to play against him without any explanation does not help.

windwall is a broken move and i have beat him in lane badly but 1 ult and he comes back

He shines in teamfight when he has someone on his team with a knock up or if the whole team lines up for one tornado. Which I've had happen way too many times to count

That is true. In Bronze, there are no op champions. Only 1/10 players that can actually use their champion correctly.

Biggest reason why Yasuo is viewed as OP is generally due to a lack of knowledge of how to lane against him and keep him down. I laned against a Yasuo as a Viktor after not playing mid for eons and I did fine. Biggest mistakes in lane are generally one of the following:

Not dodging his tornado
Running when he tries to trade
Trading while his shield is up
Letting his shield stay up.

Try to not do these and you'll have more success vs him.

only gated by cooldowns, has a passive shield... SHIELDS AND manaless don't mix people Yasuo Riven and has a double crit added on because why the hell not

windwall although is very long on CD counters too much for one ability.

Normally minions are your allys, all those tutorials everyone does when they start where they say "stay behind your minions"

yasuo says FUCK you and your minions thanks for helping me kill the laner with his dashes through the lane to get to the enemy.

Oh you like knockups.... one form of cc that tenacity CAN'T lower, but lets just make it worse by having him hold you there for a few seconds so you can really hate knockups, but wait... he isn't the only one that can trigger his ult....

And lets not mention warlords bloodlust on him shall we? free sustain for 1 1/3 items for infinite sustain when dueling champs.... that's just peachy....

Passive shield that can be dropped with one AA.

Windwall is easy to bait out and has a longer CD than whatever spell is blocked by it.

Don't fight him in your minion wave. If he's chasing you through the wave, turn and CC him. Trade damage with him. Do literally anything that isn't "stand around and let him dash all over you."

DODGE the knockup it's really not hard at all. You get an audio and visual cue when his Q is up 3 seconds before he can cast it. Just walk out of range if you're really bad at dodging skillshots.

The only reason Warlords was a problem was when he could heal off minions. Just kill him faster than he can heal? CC him so he can't AA for the heal? Kite him? Blow him up quickly so he doesn't even get the chance to touch you... Leblanc Fizz Diana summoner 14 ... don't just let him own you, fight back.

If you REALLY have issues beating him, just take up playing Annie Swain Malzahar Xerath and then wonder why you didn't do that months ago.

oh don't get me wrong, i know all about it, but the original post was asking what he has that it inherently broken compared to many other champs, he has high mobility compared to other "mobile champs" which isn't wrong.

And how he flips the tables on standards, where minions are your enemy in this case.

No mana or energy for that matter. Yes his shield is meh, but it can come back so fast and absorb a SURPRISING amount of damage with 0 investment in tank items. And has almost too much dueling potential with warlords and a q up every few seconds. :) Xerath idk how i feel about that one, i have tried a few times and usually is skill based, if you can hit e it is cake, but if yasuo can use his e well to dodge everything.

There's a cool down on Warlord's and it only works on champions. You really just aren't very good or don't have any idea on countering Yasuo. You also imply Riven is OP or good? Please. The majority (70%) of Riven's I face get destroyed just by dodging their knockup.

Get your facts straight,** I** never said they were a problem. So don't go throwing around the "You really just aren't very good" card like your challanger. The poster asked for what makes him a problem, which can be any of his abilities to be honest.
shields and manaless champs i will say SHOULD NOT EXIST. a shield should not be spammable ability, and manaless champs thrive around spamming abilities on decent to little CD inbetween.

3.Riven is a whole can of worms and was only mentioned due to her having no mana and has a shield, and like yasuo, have shown to have been problems by the community in one way or another.

Spammable? Its a 30 sec CD that barely goes down. His passive requires him to move around so just pop the shield and stun or slow him. You say they shouldn't exist yet they do and they clearly aren't game braking with their relatively fine win rates. Also, I've never claimed being challenger*, but I do claim that I've beaten plenty of Yasuo's, some with ease. As for Riven, not even a problem there, either you dodge her knockup or you don't and get out traded, if you can't dodge it then practice. And my comment on your skill, is still most likely true since all you can do is complain about manaless champions.

... wtf? are you implying bronze 2 is good? The only reason as to why people complain about yasuo is because no one cares or knows how to counter or even play the game to know how to deal with yasuo, the performance and decision making people have in bronze and silver makes every champ possible to do good on.

Meanwhile he has a 45% winrate in diamond and a 37% winrate in master, and everytime I get matched up with a yasuo in ranked it pisses me the hell off because most of them feed like hell and it sickens me at the ELO im at.

No I know bronze 2 is shit. Unless I want to only play yasuo counters I cannot counter pick him on teambuilder. I don't play ranked much and rarely play draft pick so I basically cannot guarantee that I won't get annihilated against him.

He may be garbage up in higher elo but in bronze-silver he destroys solo que.

He isn't even that good. He just thrives off fighting stupid people. That's why he dominates low elo so hard.

In bronze people WILL throw Ashe Draven Nami Jinx ults at him KNOWING his wall is up, he blocks it, and then they get mad and call his wall op.

Yeah, he has 100% crit off item 3087 item 1018 ....but he doesn't really do much damage with those items unless he procs static. You don't need a team built around stopping him. You just need a team comp that doesn't suck. That's literally all you need. One big tank with CC (which you should have no matter who you're fighting) will stop a Yasuo in his tracks. Nautilus Alistar Rumble Sion Rammus will make that Yasuo player regret even buying the champion.

If everyone on your team wants to be the carry god and you wind up with Quinn MasterYi Lux Vayne Morgana ....yeah you're gonna lose...and you deserve to.

The crit doesn't do that much even with Shiv. Shiv has been nerfed so hard that, at lvl 10 when you typically have those 2 items, a Shiv crit will do a whopping 104 damage.

Yeah that's the point i'm trying to make. Unless he goes full damage, his damage output isn't gonna be very good. If he does go full damage, he's just gonna die the second his ult ends. He relies entirely on his team providing 60-70% of the damage so he can come in at the end and sweep them all up. Unless you bring the FULL wombo Malphite MissFortune Leona Amumu , his ult will just get himself killed. The only time he's really good is if he's up against a really bad team who feeds him and can't punish his glaring weaknesses.

Of course he will be up against a bad team. It's bronze 2. Like I said you basically need to have 3-5 players if you want a guaranteed chance at winning against him at this elo.

I don't even know what this is supposed to mean. There's no counterplay to the items that he builds? And 100% crit on it's own doesn't mean anything; there's nothing magical about that 100% number that somehow changes anything. Any good duelist with their core item, whether it's Jax with Rageblade, Irelia with Triforce, or Master Yi or Shyvana with botrk is still going to wreck him 1v1 even with his 100% crit.
