Ranked Losses Should be Nullified if a teammate is punished by Tribunal

I have played several ranked games in which my team lost due to an intentional feeder. A few minutes later I get a message from RIOT saying that the player that was intentionally feeding was penalized by the Tribunal. Rather than being penalized for the loss, a nullification should be in place where you do not lose LP (but the game is still counted as a loss in Match History).

This would only result in everyone always reporting everyone else in the hope someone gets punished.

In addition, tribunal punishments are decided way after games are finished. So there would be no way to give you back the LP you lost from a game.

Here is an example. You lose a game in S1 because of someone. Everyone on the team reports him (because he was legitimately doing something very wrong). You play for the next 2 days, have some really good teammates (and lets be honest, luck) and you make it to gold IV. Now the punishment of that guy from your S1 game comes through. Do you realize deserve LP (and a chance to get further up) and a division where you didn't win a game? My answer to that is no.

Even more complicated: What happens if you are in a series and the player from the S1 game gets punished? There is no way to give you back those points. Its annoying, but that is just the nature of playing a game online with people.

And then there is the abuse case people are talking about. And while they would be able to tell a meaningless report from an actual one (so no real abuse would happen) it would clog up the works for who/what ever sorts through reports. So not worth it.

Ohh thank you. I did not realize how long it took for Tribunal punishment to take action. Thanks!!

Are you really incapable of seeing the massive problem with this? People would just use someone as a scapegoat and it's just an incredibly stupid idea even if they didn't. It's so arbitrary.

Even -if- someone were punished, it would probably be weeks, even months later in some cases. There's nothing saying the person was even punished by the game you lost in. Suck it up, take the loss, it's a bitter taste I know, but move on. It's still just a game. Look at life as a whole, the game is just a part of it, there's no point in taking it seriously, because, the only guarantee we get out of life, is that none of us are making it out alive.
