Dear Riot is ranked placements really fair?

Now don't get me wrong I don't want to start this with only negative feedback being someone who loves the game. I have played 10 placement games. With this being said I don't assume everyone is trying to go AFK. I have had literally half of my games(5/10) where players have went AFK. We know sometimes things happen! Internet connection, emergency etc.. but should the team truly be penalized for this? I invite others to reply to this on their comments on this matter. How do you feel about AFK gamers? Should riot show a AFK% in pregame lobby? Should they change remake to at least 20 minutes? Should teammates be penalized?

Thank you in advance to anyone who may provide feedback. Talking about it is how changes are made!

Change to the afk remake to 20 min? It would get tremendously abused. At most 6 and 1/2 min as no games count before 7 minutes to which it should simply automatically pop up without anybody commanding it too. But a 20 is just too long and leaves too much room for abuse.

As for the punishment, as much as I hate to say it, all the team should be punished. Again, it would be too easy to abuse.

I don't see why it would matter. What would you do if somebody had 25% afk/dc/leave/crash? It would simply put people on edge, start toxic behaviour, or simply dodge.
