Still waiting for Annie nerfs.

Azir was also dominating the high elo solo queue scene.

But ya know, let's cater to you, OP. The unranked Azir player. The lowest common denominator.

That doesn't sound fucking counter-intuitive or entitled in the slightest.

lol or we can only cater to the like 3 or less percentage of the ENTIRE FUCKING GAME that is "high elo" and LCS players.

That makes way more sense.

Ignore people who play normals (which is a MUCH higher percentage than those who play ranked at any level), or anyone low to mid elo.

Yup, only pay attention to the 3% at most of the games population.

Get out of here with that entitled "high elo" garbage. your e-peen rank doesn't impress anyone.

Well see, if I was a game balancer, do you think I'd want my game balanced around players actually playing champions to their potential or just cater to the casual?

The problem lies in the fact if you balance champions around casuals then the people who actually play the game have champions like Azir, Draven, etc to contend with. How do you think any player likes to deal with champs that are flat out unbeatable when played perfectly?

Oh, and if it makes you feel better...

all were nerfed because they were pubstomping scrublord ass.

Don't really care what you would do if you were a "game balancer" as you'd probably derp about calling anyone not diamond a scrub around the office and be fired in a weeks time.

A good game dev balances around everyone, not just a small percentage of the game population.

Let's see:

  • balance the game around a group of people being paid to play the game (LCS players)
  • balance the game around a group of people paying you to play the game

I'm not sure where this is hard.

Please .001% of the player base that are "pros" or please the actual player base.

If they piss off 200 people, that is already a higher percentage of players than there are of pro players.

I'm sure somewhere in your mind that makes sense to you to balance around pros, but the fact is, when that is all you are focusing balance on, it just pisses off your core group, and that is when you start losing money.

The amount of games I have seen catering to the "hardcore" crowd, and ignore the "casuals" and then had that bite them in the ass is larger than I can count on two hands. LoL is no different just because they have an e-sport.

That's simply not possible. You cannot balance around everyone.

So common sense tells you that you balance characters off of their skill ceiling, and not some arbitrary point where players decide they can't blame them any better, right?

Fact of the matter is Azir, for one, has been dominating both solo queue and professional play for quite some time now with a bullshit playing pattern (one of the best laners that scales into a late-game nightmare). And if he stays unnerfed he continues to terrorize the higher elo players because, "Fuck you NorthenWolf and thousands of unranked heroes like him can't pull off LCS plays if we nerf Azir." then that's just terrible fucking game management.

Also

Let's see:

  • balance the game around a group of people being paid to play the game (LCS players)
  • balance the game around a group of people paying you to play the game

Saying you should balance around a the group that pays you bullshit, simply because in this case the revenue pulled in from the competitive/esports scene is far more than most of these players' meager salaries.

At least the guy in that "patch notes rundown" youtube video admitted that they nerf champs due to "strong showings" in the LCS, instead of all this time them lying and telling us otherwise

Think they must have forgotten to edit that part out or something.

Guys guys guys like cmon stop please, riot don't care as long as they're making money and as long as the whole community keep supporting them in what they do..............they will never care OK

So if you guy want riot to care, maybe get the whole community to stop supporting riot until riot finally realize "omg we loss all our supporter? now how are we going to make profit?" Then maybe riot will start caring but I can only tell you guy that in this community of LoL.......there is more of those who will support riot in what they do than those who don't like what they do

So let's just move on with Life and play what they give us
