Braum did not show up for the first 10 min, so it was a free turret botlane. I feel like it shouldn't go down that easy (not because of an afk player, instead, how much damage botlane does to turrets at lvl 3), but if "fast games" are the desired end-goal, then it's definitely the way to go.
