WHY CAN YOU BAN A CHAMP AFTER YOUR MATE DECLARED IT ???

As title. I'm getting collapse about this. Yes, of course, everyone are required to be positive, be nice. Thus you shouldn't do it. But what if you did anyway? No banning, no penalties, THERE'S EVEN NOT A REPORT REASON FOR THIS. How about those who banned by their sweet *@%&@(% teammates? Well only 2 choices (under the condition that you want to be nice like me of course)

  1. Forced to play with champs that you didn't want to.
  2. Dodge then suffer the "penalty". I mean, RIOT said they're glad to see any unusual/experimental play styles, as well as you'r aiming the victory. But there's the biggest enemy against these, alone side with the easiest way to solve: "Patch ?.??: you can no longer ban your mates' declare now, be nice! Guys!" Yeah it will warn you when you'r banning champs that your mates declared. But it's useless if someone is doing it intentionally. And it makes no sense to allow them to. Why not just lock those champs when banning like someone picked it when you'r picking? Banning is after declaring, it's super easy to do this. Why not? WHY?????

Ranked Games are competetive games in which try your best to win. You are supposed to pick and ban the most effective way. Banning the current overpowered champion, because the chances of getting it on your team are too slim, is doing excectly that. Draft Pick is basicly training for ranked, so the same rules do apply.

If youwant to play a champion no matter what, play blind pick. That IS the purpose of that mode. There you can play your evelynn Top, Ashe Jungle, get one-shot by Kai'sa and destroyed by Taric Yi all you desire.

But do not expect people to gamble their LP or Promos on your 0 win out of 10 games Jinx Support...

Ima try and break it down:

Your 5th pick wants Master Yi for jungle. Master Yi is kind of ridiculous right now.

You have no idea in what order the enemy team is in. Their jungle could be first pick or last pick.

Do you take that chance to let the enemy team get master yi before your fifth pick, or do you ban him so no one gets Master Yi? Sure your 5th pick will be salty, but are you willing to take that chance?

Bans are unpunishable. If you feel like someone is going to ban your declared champ to spite you, don’t declare it.

Because I get 1 ban. I can use that ban however I want.

Everyone has a ban. Anyone can ban who they want. The entire point of splitting the bans from one person was so everyone could have some say on what they see in the game. Cope with the situation.

It absolutely should be tolerated. Not tolerating it opens up the entire lobby to the possibility of being held hostage because someone on your team is hovering the inevitable OP pick of the patch.

"Sorry you don't want to go against Yi+Taric, I think Yi Support would be fun! That is, unless you're willing to give me Mid..."

Yeah, no, not dealing with that. Champions should remain banable as long as the enemy team has them.

If im banning your pick, then I'm obviously not your mates.

Laddie.

But on a serious note, yes, Pyke is the perfect example for this, hell all new champs are. If your call is pretty low down the pick order you should be prepared to have back up picks, or don't declare at all since the mere declaration will also affect whether you get that pick or not.

There are plenty of reasons why you should be able to ban a declared champ, the most obvious one being the risk of facing a hard counter if you're first pick.

I do think it's bad manners to just ban the champ without comms and seeing if he can be first picked and switched first.

If it's clearly done to troll then you file a report for griefing.

Some do it to be a dick. Most should consider it to be a tactical choice. Some champions I just flat out never want to see in my elo for obvious reasons. I'm almost at that point where I exclusively ban Darius, regardless of my role.

OMG I can't believe there's those votes... nvm... So far, you'r talking about 5th picking wanted op picks. I mean, even in that situation, YOU'R NOT SUPPOSED TO BAN IT. Yeah, that's a huge risk, but whatever, even if you'r the god that know your 5th mate 100% can't get it, YOU'R NOT SUPPOSED TO BAN IT.

That's your mate's declare, you should respect it.

And as you said, it's hard to do this when you know the risk. So I'm asking this feature. It's just same with you will have problem to resist other girls/boys with a girl/boy friend when you know others is hot. You want, but you shouldn't. Yeah he might be unable to get it, but you should respect all your mates' declare, regardless anything. So you can't, right. Then that's why I'm claiming RIOT should intervene.
