First of all, I hate the waiting for the bans. We all wait enough for the game to just start. Second thing, people only choose counters and where is the fun in that? Third thing, even if Im playing with my friends, the games are always one sided, whether we are whooping them or vice versa, which is irritating and boring.
What riot should do but never will is have a blind pick ranked. That way people don't have to wait and the game isn't predictable, if you will.

So even I wish that to happen, but it's just not gonna happen. Sorry.

DrCyanide1 votesI love Blind Pick more than most, but I don't think a Blind Pick Ranked would be better than the current solution. I'll pick the champions I just want to have fun with in Blind Pick ("It's been forever since I've played Karthus, I feel like playing him!"), but I pick champions I feel proficient at for Ranked. A Blind Ranked would just result in a very high number of mirror matchups of FotM champions, higher than normal Blind Pick since no one's trying new things, just things likely to win.

Quepha1 votesBans really do increase the variety of played champions in ranked, as does the structure of trying to pick and counterpick. In ranked games you can take it as an assumption that players are trying to win and will pick the champion they think will give them the highest chance to win, and blind pick removes all the subtlety of the pick phase as players will just settle on a team comp that has no real counters and use that comp every time to win.

Because that's not what I said. You didn't properly read my post.
RANKED makes people pick champions that want to win. Blind pick ranked wouldn't change this because it's still RANKED. Draft pick adds subtlety to the champion picks despite players still picking only to try and win, blind pick removes the subtlety because players have no information about the enemy while picking.
