Treeline: you will be missed

I just want to say that the upcoming removal of Twisted Tree line is saddening to me. I’m sure I’m not alone in this feeling. Treeline has been fun for me from the start. I wish we could change Riot’s mind about canceling yet another beloved game mode. If anyone wants to share their grief about losing Treeline or if you just want to share things you enjoyed about it, this is the thread. Here are some things I’ll miss about Treeline:

Vilemaw- aka the best buff in the game
The unique altar system
Smaller teams
Much less toxicity
Abusing bots to get chests for champs that I’m not good with
Awesome Treeline items like Wooglet’s Witchcap and Lord Van Dam’s Pillager
Short matches
The map itself

riot doesnt even give a single fk about it

they just removed .. just like dominion

they dont care about 3v3 or what dominion was

they grow in budget but not in other areas like maps

I just wish Riot actually replaced it with a fast paced PvP mode that isn't based entirely around RNG. It's one thing flat out removing it, it's another offering a replacement.

Stupid riot, i play only 3v3 sinds couple years, quick matchs, dont need 1hour for match. ant for me better 3v3....stupid riot im so angry i never gonna buy again RP

It's true that twisted treeline was on life support, but they should stop saying it was difficult to maintain since they didn't touch it for years. I ended up voting "No" because, at this point, Twisted treeline needs to go, because Riot will never give it attention anyways, and if people forced them too, they would make it a disaster.

Honestly, the only thing I'll miss is the team size. I always have 2 friends online and we've had so much fun playing Twisted Treeline over the past few years.

The team size allows for different compositions to succeed - Tanks are a bit stronger since you don't have 5 opponents whittling him down.

I won't miss the map all that much though. Nor will I miss the weird items .. err I take that back, Moonflair Spellblade was amazing.

I played twisted treeline since season 2, got my account to level 30 on that map, i hated the map update so much, the alters, the walls at fountain, top side jungle removal, these were so unnecessary, i wished maybe riot will change the map back at one point but they never did.

I'm happy. Never have to play against diamonds to get to gold (for victorious chroma). If matchmaking wasn't sucking so hard I'd say this mode is pretty fun. But ....hell no. Never in my life I was that tilted.
