ARAM is terrible now

Ok so I built a gold income item on almost every champ I ever played on ARAM. I almost exclusively play ARAM. You just opened the champ pool to ALL champs, you took away itemization. You are killing my favorite mode. I never post. I am angry. I am almost at the "GIVE ME BACK EVERY CENT I SPENT" level. RIP RIP Melee champs being worth any thing. RIP support champs. ALL IT IS IS APCS AND ADCS. Why would you play anything else? AND now you can just roll until you get one every damn time. Seriously RITO what the fuck is the thought process here. "We dont like to support servers for ARAM so, lets make everyone hate it, or just use it to farm IP and set up MORE AND MORE bot accounts." Thanks for nothing. SMD, EAT A BILLION OF THESE https://dicksbymail.com/ I played closed to 3000 games of ARAM. This is the worst.

I personally play only ARAM and completely agree with Yehova! ARAM is ruined now and I just don't even want to play. Between the item changes that have been made and speeding up gold income for everyone, the format is losing things like skill and strategy and is now just luck. The champs are chosen at random so with this new format the best team composition wins and if I can't predict the winner on the load screen, the 1st 5 minutes of the game reveals it all. When I 1st started playing it seemed the goal of ARAM was a fun and slightly more fast pace game than rift where you are encouraged to try out different champs. Now you can only get about 2 items and some boots before the game is over. It's just not fun even if I am on the winning team.

And pretty much why most people had shifted to aram from the rift, it still had strategy.

is there not room for 2 different modes of league of legends with strategy? I completely agree with you but to me I liked the ARAM mode more than Rift and lost interest in the game all together. I would honestly rather just not play at all now... Maybe I'll change my mind, maybe I won't.

You misunderstand, I'm not saying there can't be multiple strategic modes, I'd welcome it; but I'm saying I agree with you and why, which you just summed up.

Now instead of people being forced to buy the income items, everyone is on par when it comes to passive gold. I personally don't see why the changes were bad.

Because there a lot of champions who can't easily get gold by beeing active. The support items helped to correct that imbalance at income.

What do you mean being active? All you have to do is be near the minions death to get the bonus gold from the update.

I believe what he was trying to say is that certain characters are good "right out of the box" and certain characters aren't, they need items. ADC's and APC's have an advantage at last hitting minions. if you are building tank or support in ARAM your gold income is just lower. now basically all champs in ARAM will have the same gold advantage which will put the heavy damage champs even further ahead. With the game being sped up and not being able to reach a full build, the potential of certain champs are lower. With a random champ select this makes the whole game into a crap shoot, and now ARAM is basically whoever can get the better team composition wins instead of being able to build items and use strategy to change the outcome of the game.... or something like that :)

I haven't seen your thread, i opened on by myself with the same topic, because i feel the same as you. I play only ARAM and now it's even more imbalanced. Many champions i liked to play are now clearly in disadvantage in terms of gold income.

But to be honest, i think most people won't care, because most people want to play adcs and apcs anyway. For them it's even better, what do they care about supports? An when the people don't care, Riot will not change anything. They wrote by themselves the changes are made for the occasional ARAM players. Guys like you and me who don't like the other modes as much, will look a proper charlie.

Gold items had no place on aram It existed before they were a thing And it will continue to exist after their removal

apparently your preception of ARAM is much different than mine... that's fine... Dominion and Twisted Treeline still exist too... hell MySpace is still around
