Honestly, I don't know how the rest of you feel, but this new auto-fill feature isn't very good to me. If, for example, i main Mid or jungle then i get placed as support with no runes or masteries to successfully play the role. I would honestly feel like i am not contributing to the team, nor, helping with everyone's overall experience. Yet, again, this is my humble opinion. can someone explain to me why they honestly implemented this besides trying to lower Queue time??

You're warned in advance when autofill is active, so if you're so unprepared to play other roles you can canccel queue and just wait until later when your prefered roles might be more available.

It makes the player base more diverse in what they play. This was a solution put in by riot for diversity. One tricks are a problem in league of legends, and i believe this was put in to stop that as well. Since every player is warned before they enter the match, no player can truly complain. And the autofill protection goes to players who play more undesired rolls such as support and fill. Because of autofill, it gives players a chance to learn support and other rolls through fill so they don't hold their team back in the future. As another plus, if you choose fill, support, or get auto filled, for a future couple of games you will be protected from autofill and know what you will get.
