Why the League of Legends ranking system is a fraud

clear case of nostalgia goggles here
If you say so, friend.

so, Riot took away heavy snowballing. so basically if you had a feeder on your team it was GG?
Season 1 had no meta and people played what they wanted where they wanted.
Silences needed to be removed, it was anti-fun giving these tools to overpowered champions.
Thinning skill shots increased chances of missing. also gives you the ability to throw through a minion wave.
the silences that he talked about removing can anyone guess the champions?

who has it now/still

just think about the ones that lost their silence and think about how strong they would be with a silence.
although i have my gripes about this game, going to be honest that having snowballing champions nerfed wasnt one of them.
although Riot has a large number of champions that a skill shot can pass through minions i only have a problem with
due to the utility and the range of the ability.
In season 1, you could have 3 feeders on your team and win the game. You are highly misinformed.
I am not an advocate of snowballing, I'm an advocate against people like you who don't take the time to even listen to what someone has to say or the implications of it.
i listened. he said he bought gold income items and basically fed and still 1v3 the enemy because he wasted their time. i played since season 2 and it was not as fun as this guy is trying to make it sound and the thing i gather from season 1 was the fact that there was no true meta and people did whatever.
I mainly attribute the horrible experience in the people who could just snowball the game and Rito's lack of security / hacker attitude. when people could drop games with the
glitch. with also a slew of other BS things that allowed others to climb. some people should have never been as high elo as they where just because they abused a mechanic.
i wish Riot would do a hard reset on the ranking system and clean up the upper elo a bit.

Glitches and bug exploits never really happened until season 3 and later, when the game was already going downhill.
So much for that argument.
Seasons 1 and 2 were great.
you are sad that a 5v5 game has become more reliant on your entire team doing well than just yourself which in my mind a team based game should already be like that not to mention that old league was literally just as bad as this version it just the case of you had fun back then but you arent having the same result now gameplay is stale for you but even if league was like it was it would still be bad because it was bad you were simply in the honeymoon phase of playing league back then
moving away from 1 guy can carry a team even when the other 4 are doing bad is a very very good thing for a team based game when you lose to 1 person it feels bad for 5 people when you lose because of 4 bad people on your team it only feels bad for you not to mention this isnt starcraft you dont get control everything you are suppose to work with what you have and make the best of it
although removal of silences i agree with but it isnt a turn off for the overall game
overall the general direction riot takes are usually in the right direction even when they are in the wrong direction they aren't huge leaps

I got about 10 seconds in before I lost interest and stopped watching.
Exactly the kind of players that dragged the game down its slippery slope.
You're wrong. You're just so very very wrong.
I initially was going to try to explain it to you but you sound so cemented in your opinion that it doesn't seem possible.
He's actually not wrong.
The game was originally considered 'Baby's first MOBA', and Riot kept pushing that further and further because the casual crowd is where all the cash is.
