Player DC's During RIOT Server Issues

For all games that were going on while the servers were having issues there should be some compensation, even if it's just Loss Prevented. This includes games that ended before the servers officially go down for some sort of maintenance. I feel as though people are being unjustly punished due to loss of LP, IP and boosts (which are BTW purchased with real money).

For instance, recently I was in a game where we were winning, but then the servers started having issues. Unfortunately, for our team our ADC disconnected and kept trying to reconnect, evident of the constant reconnect/disconnect messages; while the other team only lost their support. After about 10 minutes of this the game ended with them winning because our ADC was 6 levels behind and couldn't catch up. Upon the match ending, I expected it to be a loss forgiven, however, to my dismay it unjustly resulted in negative LP.

I don't believe that RIOT should beckon and call on every whim, but I do believe that paying customers of their product should receive proper compensation when their service or product is defective or in need of maintenance that is beyond the consumer's control. TL:DR - RIOT should compensate the players (consumers) when their game experiences issues beyond the player's control. Including games that are affected before and during the affected time-period.
