For the past few days, I have been playing Shyvana. I had a decent game with her against bots but, past that I haven't had many decent games. I die too much then we loose. I want to be a good Shyvana player. So, I'm asking League of Legends community for some assistance. I've tried looking at mobafire for builds on Shyvana but it seems I can't get it down. If anyone wants to help me out add me in game and we can go from there.
Raiku Kawisa4 votesShyvana seems simple, but thats deceiving. Her kit is very straightforward, but it doesn't allow consistent play. Mastering Azir is learning how to play him and all of the intricacies of his kit. Learning how to use Shyvana's kit is easy, applying her strengths to a game is hard.
Don't gank, Shyvana is not good at it. If the enemy is making love to your laner's tower, then show up and put a boot up their ass. Counterganking is also good. The enemy is less likely to back out if there are even numbers.
Don't go full tank. Shyvana has no impact outside of her damage. If she does no damage then the enemy team can ignore her until the rest of her team is dead. You need at least 2 damage focused items. Bloodrazer jungle item + Choose One (Trinity Force, Blade of the Ruined King, Titanic Hydra)
Do focus on objectives. You see the enemy jungler top lane? Go take dragon (Shyvana can solo it post lvl-6 if she has Bloodrazer or at least a Recurve Bow), go take all of the enemy's bot jungle, so force a gank bot to take their tower.
Do split push. Shyvana is exceptionally good at splitpushing because of her love of attack speed. If you have a Tri Force, you have bonus points in the split push category. Another reason she is good at it is because she is really good at dueling. If only one person shows up to stop you, unless they are a better duelist like Yi, Jax, or Trundle, you will probably beat them. If they send more than one, then your team has more pressure else where on the map. (When i play it sometimes takes three people to bring me down)

"Bloodrazor" you know shiv isn't a class that needs attack speed, right? you should read into her to find out the options you gave him here were wrong except titanic hydra.
btw i can teach you how to solo beat jax/yi etc as shivana, as her Q damage can be insane, also playing her as hybrid in some cases (e.g. ap-slow) can be awesome against jax as he doesnt stand a chance

But Shyvana's entire kit runs off Attack Speed. Q CD is reduced for each hit, W has on-hit dmg and its duration is extended for each hit up to a cap, her e applies a debuff that deals %HP dmg per hit, her ult gets charged faster for each hit.

Attack Speed doesnt mean Damage. While you go Bloodrazor and loose pretty much every duel, i go for the carry and win.
Crystal Scepter is a must have, as the enemy cant outrun you while you're W is active
Mostly i use: Cinderhulk, Crystal Scepter, Black Cleaver, Frozen Mallet, Titanic Hydra Not always the same as you get Items which are the best to counter the enemy team

This would work better, I don't recommend it as a every game build at all. This is more of a just wanna have fun build or only somewhat legit if your entire team is AD >.>

Any of these builds I always have 23% base attack speed increase from runes and masteries, it's a no brainer that she needs it.

gives you all you need: hp for titanic hydra ap for w/e/r slow aoe
but keep on trolling with your non hp/damage builds <3

Phantom Dancer is a decent item to consider. I prefer damage and Cinderhulk delays that. Not saying its bad, I just don't prefer it.
titanic hydra stacks with hp, but your build doesnt have that so you should consider building something else.
