"Multi-Account Using"

Reformed Rayne··1 votes·835 views

I'm going to buy myself a Laptop very soon. First off excuse me for my bad English and i hope you guys understand me. I know you can be banned if multiple users log onto the same Account and different IP's. What will happen if im going to buy a Laptop and use that one to play League?

Thanks.

No, Riot does not ban people simply for logging into different places. They understand people play on different computers, use VPN's, travel around, or just relocate. You are entirely in the clear to use your new laptop and play wherever you go.

Like deep Terror nami said, so long you use your account, and only you do, you are in no danger whatsoever. You are, however, not allowed to let other people use it. So it does not matter on which device you log in to Play league of legends, as long as it is you who logs in

i did get banned once for the reasons you are worried about this was mostly due to traveling and vpn usage though, i guess i should submit a support ticket now that i think about it ...

don't think you will get banned for playing from a few ips in the same country though.

Yeah you should be fine.

Honestly Riot doesn't really care if people share accounts as long as everyone behaves. I've played League off of several different computers so you should be fine friend.

This is untrue. Sharing accounts is not allowed for any reason as per the Terms of Use section 1.4, and accounts being used by multiple players will be banned.

1.4. Can I share or sell my account or login credentials? (No.)

When you create an account with us, we require you to select a unique username and password (collectively, your “Login Credentials”), which you’ll use each time you access the Game. You can’t share your account or Login Credentials with anyone. You can’t sell, transfer or allow any other person to access your account or Login Credentials, or offer to do so. You’re entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Login Credentials. Please notify us immediately if you become aware of any breach of security, including any loss, theft or unauthorized disclosure of your Login Credentials.

I don't let others use my account, but honestly as long as everyone behaves who cares?

Sharing accounts is not disallowed for no reason. Letting other people use your account puts it at risk of being stolen and/or used to violate the ToU in other ways, and it circumvents the purpose of the matchmaking system by placing players with and against others that are far out of their skill level.
