does zed's mark start counting damage AFTER the dash ends? so, for example, if i q'd and then r'd and the q hits the enemy before i stop being untargetable, would the death mark damage count in part of my q damage?

Even if it wasn't, you're better off waiting most of the time anyway for the shadow to get an additional Q projectile.
