My friend was Silver 5 last season and he finished his matches yesterday and got bronze5....

he's telling me that he doesnt want to play anymore

he went 2-8

Everyone in Bronze got put in Bronze 5. Everyone in Silver got put in Bronze. Everyone in Gold got put in Bronze 1-Silver.

Etc. Etc. He placed in B5 because he did especially badly in his placements. If he'd won all 10 games, he'd still be in Bronze though.
