Gold funneling is back

The problem with gold funneling was that it was so difficult to push the wave in and take the middle tower while funneling happened. The new system gives you extra gold, but makes it harder to take the tower. The extra gold has to offset the gains from a team funneling e.g. Master Yi to deter funneling. I don't think that is happening: in a single day, Master Yi's win rate increase ~ 2% in Platinum + (small sample and lots of changes fueled this, but suggestive).
