Why is queue dodge timer still a thing?

Seriously, why is this still a thing. So I dodge a game because one of my teammates bans my champion on me or threatens to feed and when I log back in I get punished. I am saving everyone on my team from a bad attitude and a bad game and yet I get punished. Why is the queue dodge timer still a thing? It makes 0 logical sense Riot, get rid of it, in fact instead of forcing people to have to quite the whole program introduce a dodge button on the champion select screen. Sure keep the lp loss in ranked but stop punishing us for wanting to play a single champion, or wanting to avoid a bad game, or just not liking our team composition and not wanting to play in that game. Seriously, this is such an old and stupid thing it needed a rework harder then Urgot did.

You say that until you spend 30 minutes in champion select because somebody dodges in the last possible second for 20 times in a row.

Lol, this reply might be kind of late compared to 8 months ago, but I agree. In ranked people sometimes troll. They just be like yolo and starting to feed or doing stupid things that will drag the whole team down. If this happened, why is it wrong to dodge? This fucking Riot (sorry for the use of language) jut gives me a -10 LP and a 30 min queue dodger, because I met a vayne jg and a renek that don't bring tp. I have 0 LP because of the stupid team matching system already, and now they give me a -10. Seriously, I want to quit this game because of the dumb, unnecessary, useless system (including the way of calculating LP, MMR, and queue dodger punishment). People that saw this might think that I'm just a random kid complaining because I don't want to lose. You know what, yes I am. The point of me playing ranked is to win, not to get troll by my teammates and lose the game. Why is it wrong to dodge the queue? I don't get the point I having this system Riot. The team is sometimes just stupid, and I DONT WANT TO LOSE MY LP BECAUSE OF THEM. What is the -10 for? For wanting to win? For not wanted to get troll? For having a serious mind towards ranked games? I hope Riot can focus on this issue (queue dodger and the calculation of LP/MMR) as fast as possible and bring rights to those people that take ranked game seriously and stop throwing the useless "30 min waiting" and the "negative LP" system. You guys really think this is funny? To be honest, those dumb system and stupid punishment already make me want to quit the game. I keep stuck in silver 5 because of my team composition, and I dodge because I want don't want to keep staying in this low elo. And then? -10 LP, good job Riot. If this problem just keep going on I will quit this game within one month and start playing other games and tell people the truth of what is it like to play league of legend. This seriously needs some maintenance, the dodge timer needs to not exceed 30 seconds, I was punish for dodging a negative, threatening champ select.

Miss fortune vs. Renekton is not a thing or against any GOD DAMN, BRUISER. However, I have been punish with a 2hr God DAMN TIMER?? I have had enough with trolls, in addition to RIOTS, reporting system which ONLY AND ONLY MODS OUT YOUR CHAT HISTORY WHILE IN GAME, then they send you a fucking copy of what you fucking said thru out the game, WHAT ABOUT THE FUCKING NEGATIVITY THEY HAD AGAINST YOU?

The problem with a lot of these ideas that sound good at first thought is that they are exploitable. THAT is why you don't see a lot of this stuff implemented.

Like FRCow says...people will just dodge all day for any reason if there is no time penalty. Then no one will get to play.

Because tons of people dodge just because they're butthurt about something, or someone chatted and now they want out of the game. I've seen it, it happens.

Literally any question you ask about rules can be summarized with the answer, because people are shit-- especially online.

I think you should be able to dodge one time without penalty. Just doesn't make sense to have to wait 5mins.

They should make the first dodge free, then start adding penalties. Having that option, even once per day, would go a long way towards improving my experience.

I'll save it for the TF support that "just felt like messing around." In ranked.

Yes because what i really want is to sit in que all day the day a new champion comes out and everyone dodges because they're banned or someone else picks them its already a problem with the punishment i can't imagine what it would be if you could dodge repeatedly with no consequences.
