My teammates and opponents are WAAAAAAAAAAY out of my elo

So I started playing league in January because my boyfriend (then friend) really wanted another friend of ours and I to try it. Needles to say, I had a lot of fun and stuck around. Anyway, I love playing and really want to reach level 30 to see where I would stand ranked, but recently, when I play alone, I've been placed in games with mostly silver and gold ranked players. I feel really bad for ruining my teammates games due to my lack of skill and have no idea how to fix this issue. I was wondering if it has anything to do with the fact that I played a few games with my boyfriend on his main account (his ranking flows between gold 1 and platinum 3)? Has anyone else had this problem?

think about it this way. bronze got 1 out of 10 on the test, silver got 2 right, gold got 3 right so on and so fourth. Nobody is watching you all day nobody cares what rank you are, If your teammates get mad that you are "bad" who cares? they are shit with corn in it at the end of the day every ones shit (no offense obv) so they cant get mad just mute them. Dont feel bad for playing against people if they may be a little better its how you can get better faster and its also not as big of a difference as you would think.
