I've been having the same struggle. If I see an enemy jungler that has an aggressive level 2 like Lee Sin or Shaco, I usually start at my buff camp (bot lane), ward the brush when I leave, then walk straight to my gromp/golems, doing the next buff afterwards. If I don't see the enemy jungler pop up at my warded brush, I know that they either: 1. Went to their own buffs, or 2. Are going to try to kill me at my second buff, so I plan accordingly.
The biggest thing is to plan ahead of time, because if you try to react after they jump you, you're going to lose flash or die at a minimum.
without help from the team it's pretty hard to fight against, other than that warding and, as shitty as it is, avoiding the red and blue buffs early on has worked for me
Counter jungle the counter jungle.
On this set of patches just gank non stop. The game is too fast and snowbally for farm centric jungle styles to be very effective. Get your laners rolling.
Stop playing late power spiking junglers - heck if I see an amumu, kindred, yi, jax etc... in their jungle and I'm a voli, shaco, lee or any early game jungler you bet your ass I'm going to hunt you down and unfortunately if you're 1 vs 1 it's not the laner's job to come help you out - they're constantly 1 vs 1 and seem to manage.
Start red, move to golems. Ward behind red before going to golems. If u see enemy jungler, just recall and move to blue, if u dont ,go to raptors.
pick an all rounder jungler good chance you will be able to kill enemy jungler including shaco and if you ended killing them good chance they screwed themselves up for the reminder of the match.
Thanks for the advice :)
Sometimes you can fight fire with fire. I was Mundo last night, and I wasn't even paying attention, I was killing red buff then noticed I had no red buff when it died and I was like "...huh? thats weird." and then died to Lee. First thing I did when I respawned was go to his red and steal it.
I find a common issue is that people afk and go to mobafire or google " my champ vs their champ" and sit under tower and ignore the jungle completely.
If they invade at the start, I'd ward up and start at the other end of the map, I cringe when I see 3+ teammates flash just to stay alive because they really want their red buff. Not worth it IMO.
It helps to have a rough idea as to what they like to do. I know Lee likes to start krugs, then go to red, and then do his shenanigans, probably invade blue since he has red already. If I start red side as Bard support, I will "collect chimes" but really ward their red, and then when he takes red, "collect chimes" again and murder him for his red. Having deep ward vision helps sometimes too
