Could we return Soraka's Q range.

With Soraka's kit changes she is being made into a more poke champ like Nami Sona , but the nerf she received to her q range puts her in way too close of range to get a heal off too safely. I know you guys want her to have more rooms of vulnerability, but she is a little too vulnerable. If you guys don't want to increase the range on her q could you instead increase the speed of it. Either on of these changes would make landing that slow moving skillshot a little easier. A third suggestion is just increase the size of it. If anyone else has any idea please post them.

I have lvl 5 on Soraka and gave her new kit a try. With her Q mana cost halved, you can poke all day - dangerously. It felt good and fun and scary. All the makings for a more enjoyable Soraka experience. I miss her range too, but if they put that back, they'd probably have to put her mana cost back up a lot so it wouldn't be too broken. Do you think it would be worth it? Do you think that would make playing her a more enjoyable experience?

Soraka is not suppose to be primarily a poke champion. She is suppose to the game's premier healer. If you make her poke too good or too easy to land it just makes it easier for Soraka to stay back and play it safe. As her poke heals herself, that is not healthy. You can either stay back and be safe, but have a harder time hitting enemies and replenishing your health, or you can come up closer where it will be easier to hit enemies and replenish health but increase the risk of counter poke.

The changes were done to: A) Decouple the self heal from the ally heal (so now can only max one at a time, instead of both at once) B) Provide additional levers for balance in the future C) Provide an opportunity to make her ally healing even better then before through proper use of rejuvenation separating out good Sorakas from bad Sorakas

The reduced CD, mana costs, and non-conditional slow are because the new self heal is weaker than the old one.
