The fuck riot? I know my mmr's high since this is my new acc and i already played before (and i still don't understand why you put all new acc's, even if they won 7/8 placements in iron), but how in bloody hell can you match up against someone 4 divisions higher than you?

Deep Terror Nami2 votesMMR was not (and will not be) hard reset, placements were messed up for those who had not placed in the 2018 season but were previously ranked. You can read on these issues in these dev posts;

Moonscourge1 votesThey're literally ranking everybody in Iron who doesn't have any previous rank. Doesn't mean your MMR is iron.
